A teenager is in hospital with life threatening injuries after falling from a Newquay cliff.
Police received a call at around 11am on Tuesday morning that a teenage boy was missing and that a bag had been found at the top of the cliff in Alexandra Road, Newquay.
Police and air ambulance attended the scene and found a teenage boy injured on Whipsderry Beach, he’s believed to have fallen down a cliff.
The teenage was airlifted to Treliske Hospital with serious injuries described as "life threatening"
He was later transferred from Treliske Hospital to Derriford Hospital by helicopter.
Investigations into the incident continue. Witnesses are asked to call the police on 101 quoting log number 0230 for the 14th October
