A high attendance is expected at next week’s St Anthony Parish Meeting to hear about a proposed road closure.
Although it is only held twice a year, the meeting on Tuesday (November 25) is expected to draw the crowds due to a plan by Cormac, overseen by Cornwall Council, to close the Carne to St Anthony road and change it into a bridleway.
This is instead of repairing a land slip that happened last winter and has kept the road closed since February.
An update will be given at the meeting in Manaccan Village Hall, which begins at 7.30pm.
