St Keverne is getting ready to switch on its Christmas lights with an evening of festive fun.
This will take place on Friday, December 12, with the opening speech and official switch on at 6.30pm in the village square.
This will be followed by children singing around the Christmas tree.
St Keverne Band will play carols, while children visit Santa and receive a gift. There will also be the opportunity to meet Olaf the snowman from children’s animated film Frozen.
Prizes will be given out for the best decorated house and business in the village, with judging for this taking place on Wednesday, December 10 and Thursday, December 11. Anyone entering is reminded to make sure their decorations are lit up on these dates.
Tickets will be available on the night for the grand prize draw, with cash prizes and a Christmas hamper to be won amongst the prizes.
Burgers, hot dogs, candy floss, popcorn and mulled wine will also be available on the night.
