A rotary club from Helston has helped the blades keep turning on Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust’s helicopters.
Members of Cober Valley Rotary Club have visited the charity’s headquarters in Newquay to present a cheque for £2,000.
The money was raised through two events last year – the annual Ball Splash in the River Cober and a mulled drinks and mince pie stall at Helston Christmas lights switch on.
During their visit to the air ambulance station, the club was also given a talk about the charity by representative Susie Smith before they took a tour of the hangar which contains the two new helicopters used by paramedics.
