The May Tree in Helston has re-opened as a Whitbread Inn after a refurbishment
Previously a Table Table restaurant, the company said the refurbishment was designed to “bring the classic pub and restaurant feel back to the local community.”
Vicki Thornton, general manager of The May Tree, said: “We're thrilled to be putting the heart back into Helston with the makeover of The May Tree, which has been a local favourite for years.
“Our aim is to make this a community-focused destination and we look forward to welcoming people to the new pub restaurant now that our doors have reopened.”
To celebrate the re-opening, mayor Michael Thomas, his wife Briege and Peggy MacGregor, of Poldark Mine, visited the restaurant for a meal.
