Several repeat calls of a blazing car led to an early call out for firefighters from Helston Community Fire Station on Saturday.
Fire Control received the calls just before 4am, related to a car fire at Roskilling Wartha, near the A394.
A crew of six firefighters was sent to the scene and found the car well alight.
A fire service spokesperson said: "The crew used two breathing apparatus at stage one and two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze – then used crash rescue equipment to open the car bonnet to get to the engine, to completely extinguish the fire."
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
