Three fire engines from Tolvaddon and one from Hayle were sent to Churchview Road, and arrived to find smoke coming from the roof.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels and one covering jet to put out the fire.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Two dogs were rescued from the property and all persons were accounted for with one casualty being treated for shock and smoke inhalation at scene by the ambulance service."
The fire is being treated as accidental.
