Police in Penryn are appealing for information after a 17-year-old girl was assaulted in the town.
Officers were alerted at around 1.00am Saturday that a girl had been walking along Treliever Road when she was approached by a man who grabbed and assaulted her before running off.
The suspect is described as wearing a dark coloured Nike hooded top with the hood up, which was over a baseball cap, and he was also wearing dark coloured trousers.
Police are seeking witnesses to this incident and want to hear from anyone who may have knowledge or be able to identify the offender.
