A 37-year-old woman driver from Praa Sands is to appear in court next week charged in relation with the death of a motorcyclist in July.
Police investigating the death of Mitchell Gilbert, 25, from Hayle, who died following a collision with a car on the A30 at St Erth, have charged Lydia Beacham, with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
She has been released on bail and is due to appear before Truro Magistrates’ Court next Monday, September 21.
Emergency services were called at 7.15am on Wednesday, July 29, following the collision on the A30 between Penzance and Hayle. Mr Gilbert, who was riding the motorcycle, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
