A motorcycle rider is in hospital with serious head injuries following a crash in Penzance on Monday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision, which happened on Monday, June 13, between a white Toyota Auris and an orange Pulse XF125 motorcycle at the junction of Alexandra Place and Alexandra Road.
A police spokesperson said: "The rider of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old local man, was taken by air ambulance to RCH Treliske with serious head injuries. The car driver was uninjured.
"The road was close as officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit at Camborne attended the incident."
