Crowds thronged Gyllyngdune Gardens on Thursday as the Friends of Princess Pavilion held their annual fundraising garden party.
People of all ages enjoyed the sunshine and the jazz tunes coming from the bandstand as they wandered around the many stalls, including books, bric a brac, and many others.
Meanwhile the children were able to enjoy a game of giant Jenga or croquet, or have their faces painted.
Maureen Davies, chair of the friends group, said: It's much quieter this year than last but I guess that's because there's good weather and a lot of people are on the beach. At the same time there's a good number here and it's nice to welcome as few or as many as come along.
"We have got face painting for the children, and there will be a Punch and Judy show later."
The group was set up to raise funds for the Princess Pavilion and Gyllyngdune Gardens, and some years ago the members decided to hold an annual garden party during Falmouth Week.
The money the group raises is used to buy items which are needed which are not included in the budget by Tempus Leisure, which runs the site.
Visitors were able to enjoy jazz, played by the Black Rock Band, and Maureen said they had been coming to the event for many years "and are very popular."
She added: "The gardens are spectacular, and you can just sit and enjoy the gardens without really needing any other sort of entertainment."
