Representatives from Helston's Epworth Hall were presented with a cheque for £200 by staff from the town's Tesco store recently.
The money will go towards the cost of installing an ADi RoomMate in the hall's disabled access toilet. The device has been developed to help people with visual impairment to use toilet facilities.
Upon entering the facility an announcement is made and instructions are given to wave a hand in front of the device which then gives a pre-recorded description which allows the user to form a mental picture to enable them to navigate the room.
