Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly car driver died following a collision in Pendeen on Monday morning.
It was at around 8.55am when a silver Ford Fiesta collided with a parked purple BMW in Boscaswell Terrace in Pendeen, west Cornwall.
At the time of the collision the 80-year-old local man who was driving the Ford Fiesta was taken to hospital with what was thought to be a minor head injury. Sadly, he passed away later that same day.
Police would now like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision. If anyone has any information they should either call 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 133 of 16 January 2017.
