Penryn College has appointed its new senior student leadership team including head boy and head girl, Gabriel Gentile and Lauren Rowe.
The pair will be aided by the deputy head boy and girl, Guy Brooks and Molly Barlow; the senior prefect team and the soon to be selected prefect team who are distinguishable by their grey polo shirts.
Candidates submitted written applications before being interviewed by school governor Marian Proudfoot, assistant head Dan Mather, current head boy and head girl Ethan McFadzean-Griffiths and Amy Walker, and head teacher, Paul Walker.
Mr Walker said: “The quality of the applications we received were superb, and the interviews were outstanding. We are all looking forward to working with the students in their new roles.”
The first official duty of the new head boy and head girl will be hosting next week’s break time achievements ceremony.
