Two brothers set off from Helston on Friday morning on an epic cycle ride which will take them to the south of France and raise money for two charities.
David and Peter Gilbert are hoping to arrive in Nice on Sunday, September 24. They are being supported along the way by dad Richard and family friend Bryan Green, who are travelling in a campervan which is providing the overnight accommodation for them all.
The brothers left from Helston Rugby Club where they were cheered off by family and friends as they began their 1,016 mile journey through France.
David chose to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital after his partner's nephew was treated there for a serious liver condition, while Peter's sponsorship money will all go to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
