A man has been assaulted and stabbed by four assailants in a street in Pool.
Police are appealing fro witnesses to the attack, which happened at around 11.45pm on Thursday, November 16, on Station Road, near Pool Market and the Emmanuel Gospel Church.
The victim, a local man in his 20s, was approached by a group of four men, three of whom subsequently assaulted and stabbed him.
He was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske and treated for his injuries.
A police spokesperson said: "The suspects are described as four white men, all in their early 20s, one wearing a brown hoody, one a green hoody. All had English accents, were white and were of skinny build."
Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area.
