The annual live nativity in Falmouth will take place on Sunday, December 10, when the parade will make its way through the town centre from Events Square to The Moor.
You can meet the sheep and the shepherds at the Watersports Centre in Grove Place from 1.15pm then make your way over to Events Square for 1.25pm where Mary will be preparing to leave on her donkey to travel through town.
People are encouraged to follow the procession and meet the inn keepers, listen to a choir of angels singing while shepherds watch over their flock of sheep at Falmouth Parish Church before hearing King Herod shouting at his subjects.
The procession then moves on towards The Moor where they follow a bright star with the wise men on their horses. Finally Mary and Joseph find a stable in a marquee on the piazza where you can see Mary cradling baby Jesus surrounded by pens of animals.
Afterwards there will be refreshments and children’s crafts in Falmouth Methodist Church. This is a free community event organised by Falmouth and Penryn Churches Together. More information is available at facebook.com/falmouthlivenativity.
