THERE’s only a few weeks left to cast your vote for the Public Choice Prize in the Imagine Falmouth art exhibition.

More than 100 local artists feature in the open submission exhibition and art prize at Falmouth Art Gallery. Hundreds of votes have already been cast but voting is close so it’s not too late to make a difference. Go along and support your favourite artwork.

Imagine Falmouth is a submissions exhibition for artists based in Cornwall. Artworks had to be completed in the last 12 months but there were no restrictions on theme or medium. An anonymous panel of curators and community members selected works for the exhibition and judged the under 18 prize.

The gallery then invited an independent panel to judge the artist prize of £750. Voting closes for the public choice prize at 5pm on Saturday, January 6.

Donna Williams, the gallery's access and interpretation manager, said: "The response to the exhibition has been fantastic and we are delighted with the standard of the artwork on display. We are hugely grateful to Hine Downing Solicitors for sponsoring the prizes. Please come along and cast your vote for the public choice prize."

Imagine Falmouth can be seen at Falmouth Art Gallery until January 20. The gallery is open from 10-5pm, Monday to Saturday and admission free.
