A new “monster hunting ” ferry arrived in port yesterday bound for Loch Ness. The 200 capacity passenger ferry Jacobite Maverick arrived from her builders Wight Shipyard Company in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
She is the latest ferry to join the cruise boat company Loch Ness by Jacobite.
The current fleet of three boats capable of carrying just over 600 passengers between them is set to be joined by the Jacobite Maverick later next week.
Operations director Pauline Wilson said: "Everything is going well for the new season and hopefully the new boat the Jacobite Maverick will arrive from the south of England on time.
