Police are looking for a teenager on a bicycle who is said to have tried to assault a woman in Porthleven while wearing a motorcycle helmet.
Officers are now hoping witnesses and anyone with information about both the incident and the identity of the teenager will come forward.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, contacted the police after being followed by a man or boy as she walked along Beacon Road, heading to Rinsey, last Thursday at around 4.30pm. The man or boy ,who was riding a bicycle, then attempted to assault her.
A police spokesperson said: "The offender is believed to be a teenager and is described as wearing a black motorbike helmet and a snood covering his face. He is also described as wearing dark camo trousers and had dark eyebrows."
Officers are also investigating a possible link between this offence and an exposure in the area involving a young male offender who was walking a dog, thought to be a Collie.
The offender in this incident was described as a white male, aged between 16 and 18 years old, around 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. He was thought to have blonde hair and was wearing a black tracksuit with a black hooded top.
Anyone who witnessed wither of the incidents or has any information is asked to contact police on 101@dc.police.uk or call 101 quoting CR/050166/18.
