27 REPORTS OF ZERO MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL IN CORNWALL

Do you suffer from zero mobile phone signal?

Through the British Chambers of Commerce #ShareYourNotSpots campaign, Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has learned that 27 reports have already been received from residents that have zero mobile phone signal where they live or work.

These reports include five areas in Truro, four in Newquay and one in Helston, many of these receiving no signal from multiple network providers.

The majority of reports have come from users of EE Mobile so the list has been shared with Chamber member BT to help them influence the need for improved coverage in Cornwall.

Access to mobile services is a basic requirement of business today, particularly in Cornwall: it’s essential to consumers and for linking people and communities.

Despite welcome progress in network rollout, businesses across the country still report areas of no mobile coverage. That’s why the British Chambers of Commerce has launched a campaign calling for 'no more not spots'.

The aim of this campaign is to end not spots for voice coverage for UK phone users where they live, work, travel or play.

Cornwall Chamber of Commerce’s raison d'être is to support businesses and through their focus on connectivity they hope to help resolve this issue.

The campaign is ongoing and will be running for at least a year so report your not spot now!
