A driver had to be cut free after becoming trapped by a fallen tree on the A39 near Truro.
The incident took place today (Tuesday July 10) at around 6pm when two fire engines attended and had to cut the man free using specialist equipment.
Luckily, the driver escaped without being injured although an ambulance was on hand just in case, and police also attended the scene.
It is likely that the road will be closed for a long time, and there is heavy traffic at the moment.
