The main routes in and out of Cornwall have cleared following two serious crashes on the A30 and A38 earlier today.
In the last half an hour traffic has been released in both directions on the A38 near Saltash, following an earlier collision between a car and a motorcycle between the east and west junctions of the B3271 near Pillmere.
An air ambulance was called due to the serious nature of the crash.
Highways England is reporting slight delays remaining in the area as the backlog clears, but these are clearing steadily.
Traffic is also flowing freely again on the A30, following reports of a multiple vehicle collision that partially blocked the A30 in the westbound direction, between the A382 and the B3260 near Okehampton (East).
There were long delays back to the A382 but both lanes have now reopened.
