FIRE services attended a cylinder fire at Falmouth Docks on Saturday afternoon.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call at 3.55pm from a member of the public reporting an Oxy Acetylene cylinder on fire at Falmouth Docks.
Two pumps from Falmouth Community Fire Station were immediately mobilised by Critical Control along with a whole time officer.
On arrival a fire involving one Acetylene cylinder was located in a fabrication workshop, with crews extinguishing the fire using two breathing apparatus under stage one, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
The incident was left safe and in the hands of the dock management.
