BICKLAND Water Road developed an unexpected water feature this lunchtime, as a burst pipe caused disruption to passing traffic.
The road was flooded around half a mile towards Maenporth from the football ground and workmen were having to manage the traffic due to the volume of water.
It is thought that the pipe was accidentally struck during work to remove tree roots, but South West Water has not yet confirmed the cause.
Traffic built up along the road as cars were only being allowed to pass one at a time.
Police were also on the scene to direct traffic.
