Two sports came together in Helston for a fundraising event organised by the town's mayoress.
A round of 'football golf' at Wheal Dream took place in aid of The Kosel Dementia Trust and The Mustard Seed - the two charities town major John Martin has chosen to support during his term of office.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Helston Football Club team won the Johnny Williams Memorial Shield with an impressive score. In second place was the Helston Flora Day Association team and in third place was the Helston Town Council team. Helston Rotary Club was placed a close fourth.
The event was organised by Helston mayoress Amanda Boxer, who said: "Many thanks to the teams, helpers, supporters and spectators who raised £250 for the local charities and a special thanks to Borlase [Solicitors] and Sainsbury’s for sponsoring the event."
There will be an opportunity to enter a team at another tournament next spring.
