A PENZANCE man will stand trial at Truro Crown Court next month facing two charges of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

Giovanni Lepore, aged 32, of Treneere Lane, Heamoor, will appear on October 9 having been charged on Friday.

The first alleged offence was that he possessed 790 grams of cocaine, the second was 30.38 grams of crack cocaine and a third charge relates to possessing £2,300 of criminal cash.

A TAXI firm has been fined £440 after failing to give information relating to the identity of an Audi Q3, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Jims Cabs Ltd, of Cardrew Way, Redruth, admitted committing the offence on July 29 at Trewennack, near Helston.

The company was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £44 victim surcharge.

Lee Christian Gribble, aged 39, of Alexandra Close, admitted committing the offence on March 16.

He was fined £293 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed with four points.

Aldred Zak Lawler, aged 28, of Moresk Road, admitted committing the offence on March 13 in a Citroen Xsara.

Christopher Sharpe, aged 66, of Avenue Road, admitted the offence took place in a Citroen C3 and was fined £83.

A BREAGE man who drove without insurance has appeared before Bodmin magistrates.

Constantin Tocan, aged 22, of Rosemaber Farm, admitted committing the offence on May 17 at Gwinear, near Hayle.

He was fined £30 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. He had six points placed on his licence.

He also admitted driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, for which he received no separate penalty.
