There are yellow weather warnings in place for four of the next five days in Falmouth.
Today's blustery conditions will be accompanied by heavy rain tomorrow afternoon and the warning for wind is from 6pm on Thursday until 9am on Friday.
After a brighter spell on Friday afternoon, another Atlantic weather front approaches on Saturday, giving heavy rain in the afternoon, although it will be accompanied by only a light breeze.
Sunday will see a return to much windier conditions and another yellow warning for wind - which can result in a "slight chance" of damage to buildings - is in place from 9am on Sunday until 9am on Monday.
The Met Office says gusts are likely to reach 50mph, although another forecaster, XC Weather, is predicting gusts of up to 70mph in the Falmouth area on Sunday afternoon.
