A HAYLE man was jailed after driving whilst disqualified with young children in the car.

Colin Green, aged 64, of Trevassack Manor Park, denied driving a Nissan Pathfinder in Hayle on January 3.

He also denied driving with no insurance or MoT certificate.

Truro magistrates found him guilty of all three offences and sent him to prison for 12 weeks.

He was also banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £400 costs and £115 victim surcharge.

EXCEEDING the speed limit on the A30 at Roseworthy has resulted in a fine for a Camborne man.

Malcolm Lee Byrne, aged 41, of Rosewarne Road, committed the offence in a Volvo on April 2.
