For the first time in its 148 year history, Helston Fatstock Show will be held on a Saturday –10th November – in a spacious building at Franchis Farm, Wendron, opposite the Wheal Dream, by kind permission of Bob Cowell.

This celebration of food and farming, with free entry to visitors, gives an opportunity for everyone to see top quality cattle and sheep, vegetables, eggs, and cookery, crafts and photography. There are also classes for YFC and children to enter.

All are welcome, particularly families with children who will be provided with NFU ‘Discovery Barn’ activities to help learn about where our food comes from.

Space will be allocated for local produce and craft stallholders to promote and sell their goods, giving visitors to the show an opportunity to browse and start their Christmas shopping.

Entries for livestock (small fee) and for all domestic classes (free entry) are welcomed, with a closing date of Saturday 27th October.
