CHILDREN at Mylor Bridge CP School had an extremely exciting afternoon last Tuesday when Team GB high jumper Robert Mitchell came to visit.
The children took part in a fun and challenging set of circuits, followed by an inspirational assembly about resilience, hard work and determination.
The children loved hearing his fantastic stories of how he became a high jumper and how much fun it is to train alongside Usain Bolt and Mo Farah.
The children raised an incredible £1549.75 in sponsorship, some going towards Rob's training and at school raised funds will be going towards improving the school's PE resources.
