Truro train station has been evacuated tonight after what witnesses believed to be a train fire.
Witnesses have reported that a train caught light near the station.
There were reports that the train filled with smoke.
However GWR said the incident was down to a train fault, not a fire.
Fire crews were called and passengers evacuated.
There is disruption to services as a result.
A fire on a train has meant the entirety of Truro station (3 platforms and one train) has been evacuated for over an hour. Still waiting for an update. At least I bumped into @emmaramsey24! pic.twitter.com/gUGGkZS6eh
