The “furious” owners of a Truro cycle shop ransacked by thieves have released a list of 22 bikes that were stolen, in a bid to make them “too hot to handle.”
Anthony and Sam of Unit Cycles Ltd, based at Threemilestone, said they were “gutted” about the break in overnight Friday to Saturday, which left their shop virtually empty of goods.
Writing on Facebook today, they said: “Obviously there was a huge amount of stuff stolen yesterday. For a start here is the list of bikes. Please keep an eye out and share this list far and wide to make the bikes too hot to handle.”
The full list of bikes can be found at the end of the article.

Yesterday they revealed the shop would be close for the day, due to a major break in. They released photographs of the “devastation” they discovered at the shop on Saturday morning, where a large hole had been made in the wall.
Describing it as “the toughest post” to write, they said: “We are gutted/furious - there aren't even the words.
"The scum broke through the wall of the side of the building and have taken nearly everything.
“Thanks to everyone for the offers of help, there is so much gone that there isn't really much left to do.”

Responding to queries from supporters, over CCTV and alarms, they added: “For the people commenting, yes we had an alarm and CCTV, however we believe the thieves scoped the place out first as they ripped the alarm system out along with the phone line, turned off the power to the building and took the CCTV recording unit with them.”
