Falmouth Police tweeted this picture of the road closure
Treliever Road in Penryn is currently closed while police deal with a tree that fell onto a power cable.
Police arrived at the scene to find that the large beech tree was resting on the power cable, stopping it from falling into the road.

Tree surgeons are assisting police to clear the debris and make the road safe again.
