Costa Coffee is launching an extensive new Christmas menu on November 1 to mark the start of the festive season.

Hazelnut praline and cream and caramelised orange and cream flavours will bring some Christmas spirit to latte and hot chocolate drinkers visiting the coffee shop which has a branch on Falmouth's Market Street.

The hazelnut praline and cream drinks are flavoured with hazelnut syrup on top of a thick layer of Belgian chocolate sauce topped with a swirl of cream and crispy chocolate truffle crumb.

A black forest hot chocolate flavoured with black cherry sauce and topped with cream, chocolate curls and cherry sauce will also be making a return along with gingerbread and cream lattes and hot chocs.

Costa is also offering a limited edition winter roast espresso to warm the cockles of caffeine-heads in the colder months.

As well as the winter drinks menu, the coffee-house will offer a limited time winter food menu.

The menu includes a wholesome pigs and blankets mac and cheese, a suitably seasonal turkey and Emmental brioche and a Christmas cheese board panini complete with Red Leicester, Wensleydale, mature Cheddar and Gran Movaria with a redcurrant and port sauce on a seeded sourdough ciabatta.

Costa's little helpers have been hard at work getting classics ready for customers to tuck into, including the turkey feast, the pigs tucked under blankets panini and the brie, bacon and cranberry panini.

The seasonal menu offers something for everyone, with a range of Christmassy veggie options such as the mozzarella and chargrilled arrabiata pasta and spiced parsnip soup.
