A METHODIST minister has aired his frustration after Epworth Hall in Helston was vandalised.

Danny Reed, of the Central Methodist Church, took to facebook despairing at the latest damage caused at the hall, which is adjacent to the church in the centre of the town.

He said: "I'm fed up with irresponsible people who are out to damage other people's property. The chapel has been targeted again.

"This time metal downpipes swung on wrenched from fixings and badly buckled leaving us with the problem of replacing listed metal guttering and rain water disposal in the meantime."

The incident is believed to have taken place in the early hours of this morning, around 2.30am. Neighbours who were woken by the noise were then subjected to verbal abuse and threats.

Danny added: "Enough is enough. Clubs nearby must be made to take more responsibility. Wondering if our insurance premium will go up again adding another financial burden. What a waste of life time and effort.

"Another occasion of an organisation trying to do good, being targeted by ruthless and dare I say idiotic vandals."
