PARTS of the A39 between Treluswell and Arch Hill will be closed for resurfacing work next week.

There will also be maintenance that involves gully emptying, sign cleaning, strimming, other drainage maintenance and sweeping.

Resurfacing of Playing Place roundabouts will be incorporated to take advantage of the closures and minimise the overall impact of the work, Cormac said.

Through traffic will need to follow the diversion, along the A393 from Falmouth to the A30 at Redruth, to Chiverton Cross roundabout on the A30 before taking the A390 into Truro.

The closures will be as follows:

Monday, November 5:

Arch Hill to and including Playing Place roundabouts. 10pm closure – access will be maintained for buses.

Tuesday, November 6:

Western Playing Place roundabout, and Treluswell Roundabout to Perranwell Station (near the Norway Inn) – 7pm closure – access maintained for local residents for buses.

Wednesday, November 7:

Perranwell Station to Devoran Roundabout. 7pm closure.

Thursday, November 8:

Carnon Downs to Playing Place. 7pm closure.

A spokesman for Cormac said: "We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by these important works."
