Two cars were involved in a collision on the A30 Roseworthy Dip this morning (Wednesday November 7). 

One male driver suffered injuries that are not reported to be life threatening and the other female driver was uninjured.

Initial reports suggested that people were trapped inside the two vehicles.

When officers from Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service attended at around 8am they found that no one was trapped inside. 

They assisted the casualties and made sure the scene was safe. 

Police and ambulance services also attended the scene. 

The road was reopened at 10am and the vehicles removed.

  • Firefighters from Falmouth Community Fire Station also attended a collision on Penryn Road just after midnight. 

One vehicle was involved, and firefighters made sure that the scene was safe. 

Devon and Cornwall Police were also on the scene.
