POLICE have launched an investigation following a disturbance in a pub in Cornwall over the weekend.

Officers were called at around 1.30am on Sunday, November 11, following reports of a youth with a knife making threats, after being ejected from the Watering Hole in Perranporth.

Bar security detained the youth, police units attended and a 16-year-old boy was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply; affray and being in possession of a bladed article.

The boy has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for witnesses and request that anyone with information call 101, quoting log number 116 of November 11.
