A fundraiser for a young table tennis player with rare form of muscular dystrophy is being held at the Dracaena Centre on Saturday December 1.
Harvey Thompson plays table tennis three times a week and the Falmouth Docks Table Tennis Club is dedicated to making sure he is still able to play as his condition deteriorates.
Ian Mcleod, the club's treasurer, said: "We are hoping to attract as many people as possible throughout the day to come and join in, play some table tennis, get some one to one coaching, play against our training robot or just come and support our fundraiser."
The money raised from the event will go towards installing an outdoor table and accessible garden space.
In August, Harvey's mum Melissa told the Packet that the 13-year-old has ambitions to join the Paralympic Pathways scheme to improve his skills and eventually compete at a world class level.
Admission will be £5 per player but donations in excess of this amount will be gratefully received.
There will also be a raffle, music, refreshments and the normal table tennis facility will be available all day, including the robot.
The Dracaena Centre's cafeteria will be open on the day selling refreshments and hot snacks.
The club has also set up a fundraising page for Harvey.
