They entertain people all over Cornwall and now a singing group is spreading joy even further with a cheque for Helston Community Hospital.
The Singing Seagulls, which has 20 members from all over the county, including Helston, visited the hospital to present the £2,500 to Jo Coward, chair of the League of Friends of Helston Community Hospital.
While there, members gave a performance of some of their songs for patients and staff.
The group has its roots in Cornish male voice singing and now opens its doors to anyone, male or female, who enjoying singing traditional music such as sea shanties, folk songs and gospel music alongside Cornish favourites.
They can be found performing around the county in pubs, at events and in care homes over Christmas.
Donations made to the Seagulls while they perform are giving to Cornish charities, with past recipients including Cornwall Air Ambulance, Cornwall Blood Bikes and Fleet.
