A burst water main between Wendron and Helston, which caused traffic disruption
A ROAD between Wendron and Helston was closed because of a burst water main this afternoon.
The B3297 both ways was closed and although it is now passable, there is very slow traffic in the area between Rowe's Lane (Wendron) and Hellescoth Way (Helston).
Earlier in the afternoon, just after 2pm, a vehicle had overturned on that road, which had forced the closure of the road.
While the vehicle has now been recovered, the closure had remained in place to allow South West Water to attend a burst water main nearby.
