A TREE has fallen across a Southampton road onto a car.
The incident happened last night on Somerset Avenue, Harefield, near the junction with Exford Avenue.
Residents at the scene have reported losing their TV signal.
The Daily Echo understands that the tree has now been removed.
The crushed car belongs to Jose Camacho, 26, who is the manager of Harefield Fish Bar.
Mr Camacho told the Daily Echo that a neighbour was concerned about the tree and told him to move his car, but before he could the tree fell onto the vehicle.
He said: "I was scared because if it had been 30 seconds earlier, I could have been crushed [in the car].
"I'm very shaken up."
