A third fire in as many days broke out on the Lizard Peninsula this evening.
Firefighters from St Keverne, Mullion and Helston were back out again dealing with yet another gorse fire in the open.

This time the fire was at Gwenter, near Ponsongath, on the back road to Coverack.
Crews put out the flames by 7.30pm.
It follows one at Ruan Minor on Sunday evening and a major blaze behind Zoar Garage last night.
