A MAN faced ten sex charges when he appeared before Truro magistrates yesterday.
Christopher William Archer, aged 23, of Brea Farm, St Buryan, has denied the charges, which are alleged to have taken place between June 21 and November 16 this year.
One of the charges, between August 2 and August 4, alleges that he intentionally communicated with a person under 16, asking her if she wore leggings, thongs and if she would allow him to have sexual intercourse with her.
Four further charges related to similar intentional communication.
The five remaining charges related to him contacting a person under 16 that he was prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made by Cornwall magistrates on November 27, 2015.
The case has been sent for trial to Truro Crown Court on December 11. He has been remanded in custody ahead of the trial given the nature and seriousness of the allegations.
