A two-year-old boy believed to have been from Cornwall has died after apparently falling from an upstairs window while on a trip to Liverpool.
According to a source in the Liverpool Echo, the boy was playing upstairs with a friend when he fell.
He was taken to the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with a serious head injury following the incident last Saturday, and is believed to have been on a life support machine.
However, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed this morning that the little boy had now died.
A neighbour in the road where the fall happened told the Liverpool Echo: “Apparently the mum was visiting with the kid from Cornwall, they aren't from round here."
