One of the main routes in and out of Falmouth has reopened this morning following a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
Killigrew Street had been closed in both directions, from the junction of Brook Street to the roundabout, since around 9pm yesterday.
The collision took place close to Day Lewis Pharmacy and All Saints Church.
A witness said a pedestrian and a car were involved in the collision.
Chloe-Mai Burrows, who lives near the scene, said: "I heard the crash and screaming from my house, but didn't see exactly what happened.
"He didn't look in a good way and the air ambulance was circulating above."
Emergency services are at the scene and it is understood an air ambulance landed.
More when we have it.
