Falmouth is to host its first Cornwall Pride event tomorrow with a fashion show at one of the town’s bars.

Some of the most daring and fabulous fashion to be found across Cornwall will be on display at Mango’s in Church Street, for the Cornwall Pride Alternative Fashion Show.

Sunday’s event has been organised by the team at Queer Fruits and begins at 8pm.

They are working in conjunction with EURO Pride and Davinia's Body Piercing Studio in Truro to stage the event, which is scheduled to run until 10.30pm.

It will include performances from Abi Flynn from Brighton among others, with Electric drag models coming down the cat walk.

There is then an after party in the nightclub upstairs until the early hours.

The organisers said: “This fashion show will not only bring communities together, this will be what we pride ourselves on - that love is love and we are all beautiful inside and out. Let’s celebrate this together.”
