It’s only a matter of weeks before the brand-new pub The Copper Coast in Camborne opens its doors in February and as the building itself starts to come together, the focus is now moving to those inside it, offering a real local twist.

New pub manager, Kevin Cronshaw, is looking within the local area to help fill more than 35 positions to build the best team for the Copper Coast, which will be on the same site as the new KFC, Costa and Travelodge at Trevenson Gateway.

The job roles available vary from front of house, chefs, kitchen assistants, porters and cleaners, with full training provided to all. There is also the opportunity to work towards NVQs and modern apprenticeships through the Marston’s Inns and Taverns Career path.

“We are looking to not only invest in the area, but its people too. The Copper Coast will be a buzzing family pub, and ideally we’re looking for likeminded people to build a good team and offer excellent service to locals who will be enjoying everything from our food to our wide drinks selection,” he said.

The restaurant and bar areas will seat 150 diners and specialise in daily hot carveries with seasonal vegetables. There’s also all the favourite classic dishes you’d expect, children’s menu and desserts too.
