Met Office weather warning
THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Cornwall as heavy rain is set to sweep in overnight.
The warning runs from 1am to 9am on Friday.
It reads: "Spells of rain, heavy at times and accompanied by windy weather, are likely to produce 20-40 mm of rain over a period of several hours.
"Coming on top of some recent very wet weather, this rain is likely to lead to some temporary flooding impacts before the rain quickly clears early Friday morning."
The Met Office said to expect flooding of a few homes and businesses; bus and train services to be affected, with journey times taking longer and spray and flooding on roads probably, making journey times longer.
